June 23. The movers arrived (again) around 8am with a somewhat small truck. They quickly realized they should have brought a larger truck. They called for backup. Now I would have two shipments. The first truck was loaded and on it's way by noon and the 2nd truck arrived around 4pm. It was packed and on it's way by 7pm.

It was a very emotional day for me and Bailey. He had kinda stayed out of the way in the RV while all the packing and moving was taking place. Around 6pm he came in the house. I think it all just hit him. He and I sat in the kitchen floor together and cried. I assured him that the memories of this house will always be with us and it's okay to be sad. It's time to make some new ones and and that as long as we were making them together we would be just fine. And we will.

June 22. Everything in the house is packed. The movers come today and all our things (that we are not taking with us) will be going to storage. The bikes are going in for service today and we are finishing up some organization in the RV and trailer (aka our garage). Ronnie spent most of the day yesterday organizing the trailer. He did a great job.

There's no turning back now. Let me catch you up. We made the decision to sell the house and purchase an RV. Travel the country for a year and then settle in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Crazy? Do you have to ask?

The house was on the market for five days and we got an offer. WOW! After a little negotiating we had a contract and a closing date.

May 25. My sister came up to help get things prepared for the yard sale and the move. What a blessing she was. The yard sale was a huge success.

June 13. We prepared the RV for a pre-trip trip. We loaded it up and took off to take her home in Ft Lauderdale.

We learned a lot. I DON'T LIKE DRIVING IT!!!! I'll get used to it, I guess. After all what's the worst that can happen?

June 16. We made it back home and got ready for the packers/movers to arrive.

June 21. The packers arrived bright and early and should be here for 3 days. We are officially living in our new home. The RV.
